Facebook Messenger for Windows Released

Facebook has finally released the Facebook Messenger app for Windows after releases for Android and iOS devices have been available for quite some time now.

Facebook Messenger for Windows is a stand-alone application that pulls out the Facebook Chat service outside of the world’s largest social network plus additional features.

The new app allows a Facebook user to see updated statuses of online friends along with a complete list of their names within the app, a feature similar to the Sidebar, which include onscreen updates for notifications.
Account holders using Windows can dock the app at the left area of the screen to have a fully capabl.

Skype already has an option to connect a user’s Facebook account so it would be better to merge the services and avoid having too many installed applications on the computer.

A Simple Trick to Lock Your Computer !

A very useful trick when you have to leave your system on for some time and you have to go some where else.

Right click on an empty area of the desktop and choose 'new' then 'shortcut.' The create shortcut wizard will open.

In the first text box, type %windir%\\System32\\rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation and then give your shortcut an appropriate name on the next page, and hit 'finish.'

You will notice that the shortcut you created has a blank icon. To select a more appropriate one, right click on the shortcut and hit 'properties.' In the 'shortcut' tab, click the 'change icon' button.

Else u can simply press the "Window key + L" to lock your computer.

You can also use the following keyboard shortcuts with a Microsoft Natural Keyboard or any other compatible keyboard that includes the Windows logo key and the Application key.

Lock & Unlock Your Computer With USB Flash Drive!

Securities of laptops and notebooks have been evolving with new technologies like fingerprint readers, eye scanners, face recognition etc but what about the personal computers?

Using this trick you will be able to lock your computer with an USB. The computer will work only when the USB is plugged in. Once the USB is removed keyboard and mouse will automatically get disabled and your screen will get dark. Moreover your computer will get automatically locked. To unlock the computer you will need to insert the USB again.

This trick will work on all versions of windows including both windows 32 bit and 64 bit.

You Should Need:

1. USB Flash Drive
2. 'Predator' Software [Download free from bellow]

Let’s see, How to lock a Computer with USB Using Predator !

1. Download ‘Predator’ software from Here. [it’s free]

2. Extract the zip folder and run application file to install the program on your computer.

3. Predator will get launched automatically after completing installation. If not, you can run it from Start/Programs/Predator.

4. Now insert your USB flash Drive. You will get a message to define your new password. [This process will not format your pendrive and your pendrive data will not be affected by this at all]

5. Click on Ok and Enter your new password in next dialog box.

6. Check that the drive letter displayed under “USB key drive” actually matches your flash drive or choose the correct letter from the dropdown list.

7. And Finally click on Create Key button and then on OK button.

Restart the program by clicking the icon on desktop, Predator will take few seconds for initialization. Once the icon in the taskbar turns green then your software has initialized itself.

Note: Never install PREDATOR on removable media.
